Tricky Fish

First time here and so glad I found this gem! Get here early for lunch and enjoy some fried okra and check out their incredible bloody Mary drinks! The oyster shooters are a creative way to enjoy these delightful and juicy specimens! The catfish is fried perfectly and served with a freshly made Coleslaw. The parking is right out front lining State street and an easy walk. They have patio seating and the bartender serves the tables near the bar. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Channel, the bartender was fantastic and shared all her insights on her favorite dishes and she's not shy about how happy she is to work at such a great place. Wish I lived closer as I'd frequent Tricky Fish on a regular basis!

This place was really great! We're really picky when it comes to seafood. Started with the calamari which was a large portion. My wife got the shrimp (creole) and grits and I, the crab cakes. Both were unique flavored and excellent. Will definitely return.

Tricky Fish is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Food, atmosphere and drinks are good. Bartender Channel is fantastic.
I like the gumbo so I recommend that dish.
I'm also a big fan of the Monday margaritas.

This restaurant kind of has a fast casual feel as you order in the front, but I guess servers can also take your order when seated, which I appreciated (because of the dog needing to stay outside). They also have soft drinks that you can serve yourself with, but our server got our drinks for us; again this is something we appreciated. We ordered their special fish of the day, which I can't really recall of the name but it was grilled to perfection and buttery and delicious and all that. We also got their grilled salmon, which was excellent as well. The sides we got were yummy, which included fries, rice, and mashed potatoes.

Tricky Fish is awesome. - James, Cody and Mike are always attentive and always modeling servant leadership. The entire waitstaff is very friendly and always helpful. And, the food is always excellent! - Easy to see why folks keep coming back. Great work Tricky Fish CityLine! -
