The food is incredible every time and the look of the place truly matches the genuine family-like personality of the staff. It's sad that this wonderful place is closing ????!

The atmosphere and the wait staff are great. The food isn't too bad, but I am not sure I will get anything with gravy on it again. The gravy was a little bland and tasted only like the fat they used to make it, to me anyway.

Looking for some seriously good brunch food and/or comfort food? Taste of Home in downtown Wylie hits it out of the park! We stopped in over the weekend and these omelettes were to die for! Seriously, one of the best omelettes I've ever had. Service was friendly and accommodating but definitely not fast so go to enjoy and relax. The ambiance is along the lines of your grandmother's country kitchen. Quaint place with excellent food and friendly service! Do yourself a favor and check it out!
