“Pretty good, but it's hard to comment on the brisket because it got doused with sauce even though I didn't ask for sauce. That's a no-no for Texas BBQ in my opinion. The brisket nachos and chopped beef baked potato were good. I'd say that it was good enough that I'll stop there again next time I'm in Eagle Lake, but I'll know to tell them no sauce!”

“Drove from Katy to try this little place out-food was good, but I dislike shredded lettuce on my food, I feel a burger and/or sandwich should have leaf lettuce. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, fries, sweet tea and soft serve cone. The only reason for 4 stars is because of the lettuce, it was soggy and just not a good choice as mentioned. Soft serve ice cream cone was amazing and the sweet tea as it should be. The sandwich was good and so were the fries!”

“Old small town coffee shop. And the Coffee was good. Got a Veggie Plate for lunch as I was too late for Breakfast. Beets -best, Lima Beans, Mac & Cheese - small salad. Just needed a little more flavor. Unsure if Seat my self or wait to be seated and staff just watched me wonder around for a while until I walked up to someone and asked. Hopefully amused them as being out of place. That being said its very close to Colorado County reverbished Courthouse, but I never noticed it before. Plenty of parking on street. Reasonably priced. Friendly, fast service once I seated myself. Will return.”

“A staple in the city of Columbus! The place had been there for years and family owned. The staff are home grown and very personable. The food is good, but sometimes inconsistent in the quality of taste, however more times than not, you will be satisfied and feel good about your purchase and selection. If you live near Columbus, then you know this place. If driving through, you must give this family owned restaurant a try and enjoy a small sample of small- town flavor and hospitality!”

“I have been eating at Formosa for some time and the food has been consistently good and the prices are relatively cheap for how much food you get. The staff are friendly and do an excellent job. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the wait time to be seated can be long and when the place gets busy the wait staff is not large enough.”
