(April 21, 2019, 3:50 pm)Great place to eat an Easter breakfast. Staff were helpful and super nice even when it was busy. food was mouthwatering with stellar portions. Next time I’m back in the hill country of Texas I will definitely be returning for another visit.

(April 20, 2019, 2:26 pm)Great place for breakfast. Get there early because they get packed! Do yourself a favor and ask to see how big the pancakes are before you order more than 1! The cinnamon roll pancake was phenomenal.

(April 13, 2019, 4:13 pm)On a recent trip to Texas we stayed in the Canyon Lake area. We were very pleased to find a couple of places to eat that are worth your attention. We had breakfast (twice) at Granny D’s. Huge dinner plate size pancakes that were very tasty, low priced, and tender. Sides of bacon were a great accompaniment and priced real well.

(March 20, 2019, 7:02 pm)Friendly environment was some good home cooked food good coffee could breakfast items they serve breakfast until 2:00 p.m. and some pretty darn good chicken fried steak if I might say so. pancakes are huge and delicious. Not to mention prices or reasonable as well

(February 17, 2019, 8:46 pm)Great family-friendly place. Waitresses are quick on their feet and friendly. Home cooking. Country feel. Nice place to day-trip to with friends or family. Prices were reasonable for the large portions they serve. Near Canyon Lake Dam.
