Granzin was a delight. We had sausage and brisket. We also had sides of beans, cole slaw, and green beans. All the food for four was hot and delicious. Granzin also serves breakfast. The restaurant also has turkey and catfish on Fridays. Also, carry tacos and pulled pork.
We went in for brisket breakfast tacos but they had no egg in them. Should we have to ask for egg? Our other selection of tacos were equivalent to the other local places. If you are looking for something different this is definitely a place you should try.
Food overall was served warm. Chicken tasted very funny. Brisket didn't taste like it was smoked. Good potatoe salad and good mac n cheese.
Granzins has been a place I've gone to since I was a kid. The atmosphere is pleasing and clean, and I've never had bad service. Their sliced brisket tacos are to die for, and their sweet tea is probably the best sweet tea you'll be able to find in central Texas. Not to mention their breakfast tacos!! My personal favorite is a bacon & egg taco, but my parents really like the cowboy and round-up tacos. Whenever I would come back to NB to visit from college, this was always a spot I'd hit up for a taco or two. If I have friends visiting from out of state, I usually bring them here to show them what BBQ is supposed to be like.
I came here for lunch from a recommendation from a friend, and I am glad I did! I ordered a chopped beef sandwich, green beans and macaroni and cheese to go. My order came out quickly and correctly. The restaurant itself smells absolutely delicious. The staff was quick and courteous when taking my order. I will definitely be coming back!
