The River House

Fantastic experience every time I go! From the food to the service to the music for supper and a song it's always a good time. The patio is dog friendly and they had a vegan sauce to substitute on their farm fresh penne to make it vegan friendly for my wife. I had the smoked Texas pork chop which was amazing and huge! The mushroom brie soup was also great! The servers and the hostess were all super sweet and accommodating for my dog and the vegan requests from my wife. Overall 9 out of 5 stars! If you haven't been here you should!

Probably the best meal I've had in a very long time. The ambiance on the deck was great.

Good food. Good quiet atmosphere inside. Quick service. I would have liked a few more choices.

First time eating here and it was delicious! I had the chicken fried chicken, which was excellent, along with the mashed potatoes and vegetables. The portion was way more than I expected, but it gave me leftovers for later. :) The gentleman that helped us was outstanding, he moved us to a table in a great spot after our original table wasn't set up correctly. I highly recommend The River House!

Awesome restaurant with excellent service and food. Great off the beaten path kind of atmosphere. We had an amazing smoked turkey sandwich with truffle fries. Then, on our way out, we saw a bunch of deer resting in the woods behind the restaurant. Had it not been drizzling, we would have enjoyed sitting on the patio for lunch watching the deer in the woods.
