Rudy’s is easily my go to spot for brisket. For the average person, I would recommend getting just 1/2 a pound of brisket and a single side. The brisket is always cooked perfectly and you have your choice of moist or lean. You can also choose to get brisket/other meat sandwiches as well. Overall, awesome place with a great atmosphere.
Excellent place! Delicious food and very affordable prices! The most important thing was that we were able to bring our little dog in a nice enclosed porch. What a perfect place! The girl that helped us was amazing! She offered us to try different meats before we decided. She was out of this world! We can’t wait to come back!
Very clean, and nice service. We went for breakfast and our food was hot and fresh. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 and not 5 stars) is that although we got here at about 930am I think the sweet tea was not fresh, and may have been from the night before. There were three containers of sweet tea and I tried all of them, but none of them tasted particularly fresh. Overall, definitely a good Rudy’s, though.
Great as always! This is the best Rudy's in Texas. They always have fast friendly service. Delicious, tender & moist brisket. Perfectly smoked baby back ribs. The new potatoes with butter & cream corn are always a hit with the family. The peach cobbler is so so good with perfect crust and sweet but not too sweet peaches. Totally amazing sweet tea. We eat here every time we want great Texas BBQ in New Braunfels!
Had moist brisket, jalapeno sausage, and a side of beans. The food is really good. The crust of the brisket is salty from the tub they used, but it was all delicious. They have jalapenos, pickles, onions, and hot cherry peppers at the free condiment bar. Didn't try their desserts but it looks like cobbler (not sure what kinds) and pudding (banana and chocolate were what I think I saw in their case). We'll be back.
