Food was hot and good. The BBQ sauce has a little heat but good. Mack and cheese needs a little salt and pepper but baked beans are excellent! Avoid the lunch rush if possible.

The entrees come with 2 sides....i got the special it also came with dessert and a drink. The food is delicious...Nicely seasoned, not too salty. The greens have a little kick to them and the pinto beans are amazing. The dining room appeared clean and the young man helped us was very friendly.

Fried pork chops on point. Gotta say I didn't care much for the greens but still ate them cause they still tasted good (I just added a couple of ingredients to my taste).
I've eaten there 3 times now and nope not disappointed.
Thanks for bringing your restaurant to Copperas Cove....now could you just stay open later than 7? Maybe one or two nights a week?

BEST food in Copperas Cove!! The catfish is PHENOMENAL! Mac and cheese need I say more?!? The collard greens are OMG DELISH!! And don’t even get me started on that Peach Cobbler it is the best you will ever have!! And the best people working there! You walk in there are in like you walking into a family event! 5 stars is not enough stars!

Another local gem! This is awesome, they have amazingly well smoked meats and don’t try to use sauce to cover it and drench it
The meat is tender, cooked beautifully and well seasoned. The first bite was nearly a religious experience with neither of our plates lasting more than a few minutes. Even the sides were well made and seasoned and actually tasted like they weren’t pre-packaged!
While the store decor is a bit plain that doesn’t mean it’s bad. It actually lends itself well to this being a locally owned and run joint with great food
The staff is lovely and helped us order the best way to make it the best price.
Overall I’m super happy and can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
