This is not for the faint of heart...its located in the South Dallas/Fair park area...Culture shock is possible...other than that...this is the best...boil you can get in Dallas...black boxes start at $25 and include a cluster of crab legs shrimp sausages potatoes and corn....pockets tight ....one box will feed two med. Sized people....enjoy

I've been there a few times. The wait is long only because they make your food FRESH! The quality and quantity is great. Great food like that can't be rushed and it's well worth the price.

Food was good, crabs were a bit I overcooked but seasoned nicely. Fried fish was overcooked, hard to eat, salty. They don't answer phones when you call to order ahead so be prepared to wait an hour for food if you have to walk in to order. I'd give them a second shot though. Maybe this was a one off day. The price for the serving is excellent.

If you want good seafood at a reasonable price this is the place to go. Its truly a hidden gem, that rarely people know about. My husband and I got the black box and he didnt want the sausage on his platter so they gave him extra crab legs to take place of the sausages with no extra charge. Talking about a bonus. There is not a long wait time here. I truly recommend this place to any and everybody!!

Aunt Irene’s is the best kept secret in Texas! The food is flavorful and the prices are affordable for excellent seafood. The portions are enough for two. This restaurant is nestled in the heart of Fair Park. The large lobster black box meal was amazing! If you don’t like spicy food, you might want to ask to cut down in the spicy. The fish and wings box was very good as well. I love the fried shrimp cooked with corn meal. You have to give this place a try. Parking is on the back side and being expanded. This place can get crowed, so pick the time of your visit wisely.
