Slater's 50/50

The food was awesome! So good! The bartender was great and really took care of my friends and I.

Amazingly friendly staff, great service, awesome burgers. I'm typically a creature of habit, but the unique choices of toppings and fixins for your burger have inspired me to step outside of my comfort zone and try several new things. Definitely try the fried pickles and bacon mac and cheese balls. Great addition to Dallas, good drink specials and quite the selection of craft brews on tap.

I've been twice now. My first visit was during lunch and the three of us who went all loved it! Sweet potato fries with pumpkin dip? Yum!! There is even a burger with cheese enchiladas on top!!

Our second time was at dinner and it was underwhelming at best. My burgers' bottom bun had become dough again from all the moisture in the lettuce. I couldn't pick it up. My friend ordered his burger with no tomato or cheese and the server noted this when setting down his plate that clearly had both. When this was brought to her attention she asked if we wanted the kitchen to remove them. He just picked them off himself. We wanted extra napkins and were given paper towels (totally fine, but they have really nice cloth napkins, so it was weird). We continually waited for refills.

Go at lunch. Get the onion rings. It's really good when it's good. It's really disappointing when it's not.

Went there with my family of 6 the other day. The place was absolutely amazing. One of the things I look for most in a restaurant, behind good food is a great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the owner happened to be there when we were there. He was amazing. If you could only imagine how hard they were working, you could taste it in the burger. Overall, 11/10 recommend for a great burger and friendly people.

First time trying Slater’s 50/50. We had a reservation as we had 7 people and weren’t sure how crowded it would be for dinner on a Saturday evening. Turns out, reservation wasn’t needed, sparse crowd but made the wait staff very attentive. Very friendly staff, we had a vegetarian as part of the group and staff was very helpful with questions. Beer selection was good but not great. Food was really good which is why we came. Two photos are the Best Damn Bacon burger and the enchilada burger. Both were really good. We tried the loaded fries with brisket as well as the Brussels Sprouts for apps. Recommend giving this place a try. They have another location on lowest Greenville. Try it, you’ll like it!!!
