It’s a nice cozy taco joint individually owned. My boyfriend comes here regularly to where he knows who the owner is and how involved he is with his place - which is amazing! It’s hard to find “hands-on business owners”. The tacos were tasty but my only complaint would be my tacos came cold to the table - probably because they were accidentally taken outside and then I saw the server bring from the patio.
I think it’s just my luck because my boyfriend loves this place. I’ll give it another chance soon and come back for an edit ????????
First bite of wild mushroom taco sent me into vapor lock! Explosion of all wonderful flavors set off with almond salsa - smoky, sweet, savory. Feeling started in my stomach and quickly moved through my veins into my brain activating all pleasure centers!!! Same with buche taco (pork belly) and braised pork shoulder! DO. NOT. HESITATE! GO!!!!
Wow! The atmosphere is put together perfectly. Wether you are joining them for lunch or dinner it is a spot that makes you want to stay, get lost in tacos and conversation. I was in the area and found this place by googling for nearby restaurants. This will be my go to place when I am there again for business. We tried a variety of tacos and all were amazing. All of the staff were great and offered awesome customer service. Try this place!!!
Unbelievable food. Great drinks. Nice staff. I don't know why we don't come here all the time.
The tacos and chips are crazy tasty! I had the pork shoulder, beef spare rib, and the pork belly, all of them are excellent in flavor and amount of meat involved. The chips are seasoned very well, the one missing star is because of their"salsa" witch resembles more of a tomato soup than a salsa. I was sweet(when I asked for spicy) barely any garlic or any other discernable flavors other than sweet tomato. Not in flavor profile for salsa, everything else was outstanding though! The place is very cozy, with little seating; however it is very nice none the less. ***Update*** I am going to assume that a mistake was made my first visit seeing as how the salsa was very tasty and even had a little spice to it!
