The chicken fried steak what's one of the best I've ever had battered perfect tender mashed potatoes didn't need gravy or butter brussel sprouts were off the Richter scale. Excellent place for chicken fried steak.

Deep Ellum location. Breakfast is moderately priced and the pancakes are awesome. I typically get the Migas as it is a good or better than what we could get at the Mecca when they were on Harry Hines.

They are accommodating for vegetarians which is nice. Coffee is basic but good.

I haven't been for dinner (yet) but have been at night for the bands.

The service is amazing here! The food was delicious, gotta thank the chef. I got a watermelon with my chorizo tacos and I love watermelon:) thank you for that pleasant surprise. Went with my family and we will be coming back very soon!

Do not skip the cornbread or the strawberry rhubarb pie at this joint. Food is great, and personal, terrific service. One of my favorite spots to meet people for a cup of coffee.

Great little spot downtown. My husband had seen it on TV and it was worth the spot in to give it a try. Fun and busy decor inside. There wasn't live music at the time but they were having an artist perform later that evening. Worth the stop. Be ready to pay for parking down the street and a short walk.
