The restaurant is clean, modern and has fast/friendly service. The ambiance is of chic Americana... Fancy home food... The plates come out quick. The arrangement on the plate is absolutely mouth watering. The only issue is if you have any type of food allergy be sure to emphasize it. I told my server I cannot do dairy... So we put the cream sauce on the side, when I finished my plate I realized the bread underneath my brisket Benedict has a layer of cheese. That was the full star loss for me. Food allergies should be taken a little more to heart in restaurants. But other than that the only mix up was a poached egg that came out missing a yolk. Easy fix... I received a new poached egg on the side... The staff was fully ready to remake my entire plate, and that was thoughtful but I'm not the kind of customer to waste just because presentation is off. All in all... I give it a 3.8 but google does full stars... Haha... Good and enjoyed this nice spot. Will be back soon! ????????

Friday Morning Visit Medallion Northwest Highway Dallas
Multiple employees with big smiles holding the door for the three of us. Seated immediately.
Our waiter was courteous, friendly and helpful with menu items. Good Bloody Mary!
Multiple eggs benedict selections, large pan cakes, good coffee, and good service. Same courteous employees at the door as we left. Gotta love that big smile as she held the door. Thanks for a nice brunch.

Food was great! My server was quick and attentive once someone figured out I hadn’t been picked up by a server which took close to 7-8 minutes. The staff were very jovial with one another and it was overall a very good experience. Had a great menu. Food was delicious. The presentation was impeccable. I definitely look forward to a return visit.

Wheelchair accessible ! After a long medical appointment tired and hungry my daughter took me to First Watch for our first time.. the first one we found looked open but is not opening for four more days. However the manager was quick to tell us there's another one 2 miles away and gave us a menu to study on the way. We arrived at the Lake Highlands location and staff helped open the doors so I could get my large power wheelchair in. One quick assessment told us there were no tables available but only booths which is not doable in a power wheelchair. The host then mention the community table which is a no wait table with a high table. I told him that's perfect for a power chair as mine will elevate and we quickly became comfortable there. The waitress was as excited to tell us about the menu as we were to hear about it. Her description of the million-dollar bacon made it impossible not to order. And it was as good as she described. My daughter had soup and sandwich and I had lemon pancakes that were divine. My daughter said the lunch was very good and love the sourdough bread. By the way if anyone in a wheelchair tries this restaurant the bathrooms are very roomy and well-equipped for wheelchair accessible. We will be returning to this restaurant again and again. Can't wait to try something else next time. But always order the million-dollar bacon!

Great open dining room. Has some outdoor tables too. Waiting area is small, would recommend calling ahead. They offer a community table with no wait if you're so inclined. Menu is made up of high-end American Country favorites. Seems like a good place for families. You pay at the check in desk instead of your waitstaff.
