The ambiance in the place is very nice. My food was very delicious and the frozen margarita here was the icing on the cake.
Excellent restaurant. Good price: Taco lunch for two persons including frozen margaritas for ~$50. Relaxed ambiente: Very kind service and Italian 80s music and some of the best taccos in town. Interior design is fantastic and hipp. Will go there again soon.
Excellent and interesting Uptown Tex-Mex with cool vibe. Upscale, but casual inside with a couple great outdoor patios. Service and food have always been excellent. Not expensive, but they take the time to get the details right!
We had to wait to be seated. Meanwhile, we sat at the bar to wait. The bartender convinced us to sit at the bar, so we did. And I am glad we did! He was fun, attentive and knowledgeable. I was sick at the time and he suggested a hot toddy. I tried it out and my goodness! It did wonders to my throat! Next day it was practically gone! Food was great too! Can’t wait to go back and try frozen drinks. I wished I had asked for his name. He was great!
This is easily the best Tex Mex in Uptown, possibly in all of Dallas. The cocktail program is incredibly innovative, with its crowning achievement being the best frozen margarita that money can buy. The food consists of Tex Mex classics executed perfectly, and the ambiance is a sublime blend of old school Texas Art Deco and upscale sophistication. We’ve been at least half a dozen times since it opened and have never been disappointed. Try the chalupa, the soft tacos, the queso flameado, the crispy shrimp tacos, and even the ribs! The ribs were TREMENDOUS!
