Man…. I would rate Perry’s 6 stars if I could. The Famous Pork Chop is literally, no exaggeration, the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my 31 years of being on this Earth. Great atmosphere, great service, amazing food. We got lucky by coming on a Sunday as it turns out they have a Sunday supper special that comes with a salad and dessert. The pear and pecan salad was great as was the dessert BUT it was just 3 tiny pieces of cake. I would probably skip the dessert and exchange it for an additional side.
We took our son out to Perry's for his birthday on 2/18/22. They appear to be having a problem with getting drink out to customers once ordered. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks. This was the second time we visited Perry's in the past month. No sure what's going on. Certainly, could be staffing issues, but none the less, disappointing. Our food was fine but not digging the wait for drinks. Recently ate at Capitol Grille for my birthday. No wait and drinks were on point!
Service tonight was quite poor compared to prior visits. The restaurant was packed, and great lengths of time elapsed between visits from our server, as she was spread far too thin.
Food was also slow to come out of the kitchen, with there being probably a 15 minute gap between finishing salads and receiving entrees. Credit cards sat atop the checks at our table for probably another 15 minutes as we were ready to leave, waiting to be paid. What should have been a 2-hour dinner clocked in right at 3.
The food was all around good, no issues there, but good food can't make up for a frustrating experience in service.
Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time here for his birthday dinner. When we arrived, there were rose petals on the table with a beautiful view of the city. The service and food was AMAZING. If your looking for somewhere romantic, this is the place to go!
Our server, Tasia, was accommodating, knowledgeable & consistent. She brought out a nice little dessert and wished my boyfriend a happy birthday which was very nice. Thank you Tasia for making our night so special!
When in Dallas, check this place OUT! You won’t be disappointed!!!!
