Rex's Seafood and Market

This is a nice spot for a dinner date and nice little stroll. Visited with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. The oysters weren’t my favorite but the dinners we ordered where delicious ????

Located in Farmers Market, there's walk-up ordering at the counter with an excellent selection of menu items but not overwhelming.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. After ordering at the counter, they will bring your meal out to your table when ready. If you have questions, they will surely have an answer for you.

Over several visits, the Salmon, Red Snapper, and Redfish have become some of my favorites. Each sauce is simple but delicious. The fish is always fresh, tender, and cooked to order. I like my Salmon cooked to medium, and they get it right every time.

Check the blackboard menu, depending on the fresh fish available on the market there are sometimes items on the board.

The freshness and quality of the fish are what makes Rex's Seafood a great seafood spot.

Rex's has a great happy hour. The oysters are on special, both the Gulf and Premium plus several other food items that make it a real "Happy" hour.

Give them a try. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

I usually come here when I want something quick but good. They always have good selection of fresh oysters. My favorite is lobster roll and a cold glass of beer for lunch

Awesome place! Will definitely come back. Affordable dishes that taste amazing! Staff was super helpful when I asked about some fish they sold, glad i stopped by! :)

This is inside the Dallas Food Market. Close to entrance 2.
I saw a long line of folks waiting to order, so I assumed this should be really good. Also, there were lots of tables near Rex's, although all were occupied and we had to wait for a while to get a seat or two, which we fortunately did get just before the food arrived.
I ordered Fried Calamari for starters and Fish and Chips for entree. Both were awesome. The calamaris had this crispy yet chewy texture which was really good.
Liked the way they served it in this newspaper thingy...
Fish was also great. Awesome place. Great food.
