The Charles

We had a very enjoyable evening at The Charles. I have been here a few times, and I have never gotten past the pastas, which are wonderful. Fortunately, this time I did and a pork entree was memorable. Our server was very busy, but delivered excellent service.
The staff at this restaurant obviously works diligently to provide an outstanding dining experience. No better restaurant in Dallas.

Visited The Charles again, another fantastic experience. Amberly served us with a professional and fun attitude. She was very knowledgable and explained the offerings with expertise. So refreshing to find wonderfully prepared food and polished, extremely pleasant service in Dallas. A top pick in our Dallas dining rotation. This place is pricey but how do you put a price on taste and a wonderful dinner with friends? The food was exquisite. Our fabulous waiter Drew suggested we eat family style and we had no regrets. We ordered a second plate of the ravioli because it was so good. Don’t skip ordering the pie either. Drinks were good. Use the complimentary valet; parking wasn’t readily available even on a Wednesday evening. The bathroom wall decor was artfully pornographic, just fair warning.

Excellent service, eye catching design, superb food. Had a great time here on a Friday night. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All the dishes we tried were very good. Highlights were the truffle pasta (which was a special for the night), wood grilled oysters, and the focaccia bread. Hip clientele and upscale, so make sure you are dressed the part.

The food is amazing. Try the charred octopus. The atmosphere is lovely and lively in a casual yet elegance setting. Chris provided superb service.
