Velvet Taco

I saw this place rated high in several publications so we decided to try it when my nephew visited. It's a real interesting take on tacos. Five of us went and all tried different things. Everyone loved it! We weren't the only ones. We arrived around 11:30 and there were only a few people there. By the time we left the place was jam packed. Big thumbs up!

A damn fine taco joint. Yes it's a (small) chain .. but it's a good one. You'll sit outdoors under a billboard and in-between a noisy highway and a dusty parking lot -- and you'll love every delicious bite. Varied, creative menu -- zesty and daring. And cold craft beer. Doesn't get much better. Try it if you're nearby and hungry.

This is a MUST on each visit to Dallas. Funky & Fun! I remember thinking on our 1st visit that the establishmen didn't look that great from the outside. However, the food was very impressive. We tried 4 types of tacos- chicken, pork, beef, and fish. They were all excellent. That along with a cold beer made our dinner very enjoyable. We have since visited each and every time we visit Dallas. We even introduced our flight attendant daughter to Velvet Taco. Now she visits on every layover and she's introduced VT to many flight attendants. This place is too good not to share!

This is a great, casual spot for tacos. They have signature tacos and seem to have a special taco each month. I ordered a crab cake taco and fish n chips taco. Both of them were really good. I also ordered the tots. The toppings on the tots were great and these are definitely not your typical loaded tots. The staff was really helpful, especially if it's your first time visiting this restaurant. There aren't many tables inside and there are a few outside if you're looking to eat at the restaurant. Otherwise, it's a great place to grab some tacos to go.

One of the most delicious taco places ever. They also have Indian style spicy tikka chicken tacos. So, if you like Indian food, you will definitely love these tacos. I love their fish tacos too. And they're open until late night(4 AM to be precise), what more can you ask for. My husband loves their cheese corn,it is good too. And they have variety of soda pops and drinks too.
