Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse

The service was good but the food was amazing. From the venison wrap to the steak....top notch. Only thing I would've liked to have seen different would've been the waitress a little more informative about the menu. If the waitress would've asked if it were our first time there, maybe she would've explained to my friend that the kabobs come with some kind of green sauce on them and my friend could've elected no sauce or maybe on the side. When she tried it she didn't like it and had to wipe it off the kabobs.

I've eaten here twice now and it's been exceptional both times. They have a good selection of exotic meats. I had the pimento cheese fritters and venison roll ups appetizer. OMG, wow the flavor was amazing. The venison was very soft and tender like fall off the bone tender. At this point, I really didn't need the main course as I was full on appetizers.

The food is exceptional, not your average fare at a steak house. I really enjoy lunch here, though the food coma after renders me unless for the rest of the day. This is an upscale place with the menu prices to match. Casual dress is fine for lunch, but dress to the nines for dinner. I've only done dinner once and it was a very elegant affair. A bit out of my personal comfort zone, but allot of people will love it. The service is exemplary. The wait staff were smiling and attentive. I consider that a testament to how the management treats them. That makes a great restaurant in my book.

Even if the food wasn't the best food which it is, I would come back for the service alone. Atmospheres warm and friendly. I'm a construction worker, I tend to eat lunch there on Thursday. Sylvia greet me and sees me with a warm friendly professionalism. Your waitstaff is very attentive, not once have I ever been treated like I do not belong there or I am not welcome. I love this place ????, I I recommend it for anyone who needs to feel like they belong somewhere they want to feel welcome have a fine dining experience.

We were only in Dallas for a few days, but this restaurant appealed to us so much we went back twice. The Western ambiance is great, and the food is even greater. The steaks were well-cooked and delicious to eat. The staff were polite and friendly. Loved the place.
