KOOLY'S BBQ

This was my first time trying Koolys. Never heard of them until they opened their DeSoto location. It was just okay. I ordered the "heavyweight" baked potato and my cousin got a double meat chopped beef potato along with a side of cabbage and greens. The cabbage was the best of all that was ordered. The greens tasted like they were from a can but edible nontheless. My potato wasn't cooked all the way through. It was fully loaded and the pics are as described but the potato itself wasn't soft. It had a crunch to it. Had to put it in the oven to let it finish cooking. It tasted better afterward but it ruined my first impression. I will definitely give them another try as I want to try their ribs minus the bbq sauce. The sauce is extra sweet, if you like sweet sauce you will love it. I don't, I like sweet and tangy and it didnt have any tang to it.
