Garden Restaurant

I lived in California for many years, and consider myself a fair judge for good Chinese food. I was introduced to this restaurant and have been impressed with the quality of the dim sum.

My go to place for Dim Sum in DFW. Kind of hidden within a Vietnamese complex. It's gotten busier over the years as more people have found out about it. They have the push carts for authenticity and generally do a good job of making the rounds with the various options. You can order Dim Sum off the menu if it's something you don't see. Everything has pretty good portion sizes and comes out hot and fresh.

Clean restaurant, tasty food. Lobsters are flown from Maine on Fridays. We had 1 dim sum plate, fried flounder and lobster fried rice. Great service, not very crowded for lunch on Friday, tasty Cantonese food!

Dim sum experience was just ok. It wasn’t excellent. We went at the busiest time, Labor Day weekend. They didn’t have enough employees to push the cart around. The food is good, I’m going to give them that. One tip: don’t order the peeking duck. There are many other places that has better peeking duck.
