Ronnie's Catfish & More (Garland)

My spouse has been fishing for catfish and frying fish since he was a kid and this is the best place he has been to in this area for fried catfish, second only to home made. I agreed it was a great flavor and value. Friendly, fast, tasty, great price.

Had this a week ago and I've been craving it since. Made my catfish nuggets fresh, great flavor. Take out only, and they put everything I could need (sauces, utensils, etc.)in the bag.

Today was the first time I decided to try Ronnie’s, I called in my order, the young lady only asked bone in or bone out for my 2 piece catfish, I had never heard of this, even at 55 years of age, I was expecting filets. I’m not sure what the pieces were that I received, kinda looked like nuggets but I knew it was perfectly fried catfish. When I tasted it, the taste and look was very pleasing to my palate. It was hot and fresh. Next time I will asked for filets or maybe an order of tails or both. Great customer service, greeted with a smile, very appreciative of the business and very polite. Keep cooking and keep improving the exterior of the facility. See ya soon.

The food was great! Had to order at a window, but they brought it out to the car. Great prices. If you don't mind that it is take out only, and parking is limited, this is the place to get catfish!

My 1st time at this Ronnie's. I call my order in and still had to wait 15mins. My food was ok the fish was not hot. I can tell it had been sitting under the warmer. My link basket was hot and fresh. This Ronnie's needs to clean up and paint. It really ugly and junkie inside.
