Monterey's Little Mexico

Had the best experience here from the moment I hit the door. Super friendly staff, Irma is awesome. My GF and I had Appetizers, Margaritas, two great dinners, and desert for around $35. All food was hot, great flavor and texture and service was killer. Worth every single penny paid. Will make this my go to Mexican food. Seriously ask for Irma!

Found this place using Google maps, said " What the heck, lets try it" So glad we did. Sure it's not located in a glamorous neighborhood and the building isn't new......so what. The place is clean inside and out, Irma was at the hostess stand laughing with a co-worker when we walked in, she smiled, greeted us and took us to a,table. So glad she was also our waitress. All the food was timely, fresh, delicious and serving sizes were about perfect. Drinks were awesome, yes, I had the Prickly Pear margarita. Chips & queso, three drinks, two entres, one dessert and charming service for less than $40. So glad we found this place. Irma and the margaritas make it extra awesome.

Love this Lil restaurant. Everytime me my family go here the food is comes out fast and it's good. Now that prickly pear margarita absolutely delicious. One of Grand Prairie's hidden gems.

Superb Mexican food in a comfortable environment. Delicious chips keep coming and reasonable drink prices. They have a unique entree, Stacked Enchiladas, which is my automatic choice each time I visit. In an area full of this type of food, this place rises above. You won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this is your place. My Mexican friend's family frequent there, and you know it is good if the locals like it. The waitresses and waiters are always exuding friendliness and the salsa is top notch! It is a very homey environment and will make you feel comfortable within minutes of stepping foot inside.
