Dave's Hot Chicken

Just like others in the area, we’ve been waiting for this place to open up since we saw the Dave’s Hot Chicken signage go up!

We each got the sliders, fries, & mac n cheese. The food was great, not too hot that it overpowered the chicken or the sauce. We tried the medium and hot for the sliders, both were great, I’d the hot is way to go if you like spice, it wasn’t so hot that I needed milk! Haha.

I’d definitely come back without a question and get the sliders again. The chicken appeared to be made to order and didn’t take too long, everything was on point. The staff was killing it and interacting with the guests as well!

First time there and honestly the food was great ,fresh and hot. Good but there was a long wait and i was the second car in line! COME ON DAVE! WE NEED TO WORK ON THAT. I understand freshness,but it would be nice if the service was faster for the price you charging!!!

Staff is great and everyone is really nice. Place was spotless clean which I really like.

I originally got hot and extra hot. And they were really good!

I went ahead and got the reaper after and let me tell ya, the reaper is actually spicy! But it's still really enjoyable!

Fries and pickles were good as well.

I definitely recommend coming if you like or love spicy tenders!

Had the privilege to a "friends & family" soft opening today at the new location in North Irving. Met the franchise owner, also named Dave, who was generous and kind to provide us a free lunch. Ordered the #2 and #3 combos and the food was hot, fresh and spiced just right! Added cheese to the fries which was a great upgrade. The kale slaw and the crunchy pickles compliment well to the spicy chicken. I've been to the owners Preston location and I'm happy that he is opening up in Irving, my stomping grounds. Felt part of the family 😉 Best wishes to the staff, managers and owner for the grand opening tomorrow! Continued success!!
