The Catch

Came out to try The Catch with the kids after church and we loved it!!! The ambience is lovely and the staff was wonderful. Family friendly restaurant with great seafood. Wife loved the Crawfish! Definitely going to have to make it our regular stops on the weekends with the whole family.

The place is new, so they are still working out the kinks... but in time they will get there. Tried the shrimp on my first visit and it took forever. My wife got mix shrimp in her order. 3 super large jumbos and three regular size ones. Like I said, the place will find it’s rhythm.

The restaurant was bustling. It has a great neighborhood joint vibe. We had fried catfish and a bunch of boiled seafood. The "mild" spice level was still pretty spicy. Good for families. Full bar. Great specials.

Portions are moderately sized so don't expect a bang for your buck. The gumbo was decent-I finished so can't really complain. If the rest of the seafood is as fresh as the fried catfish, I'll be back. Only reason I didn't give this place five stars is due to the staff sitting at the bar. I thought he was a fellow patron but turns out he was the bar back? Didn't want to leave my seat and come back to a missing hush puppy.
