Houlihan's

This is a busy place as it is connected to the Denton Convention Center, so you can expect a good wait during peak meal hours. And, because it is located in a college town you can expect the service to be hit or miss, as the wait staff is largely comprised of college students. Nothing wrong with this, however, this means less consistency and professionalism in the area of table service. The food is good, as far as chain concepts go. So, while this may not be one of those destination restaurants that you will plan in advance, it is a decent stop if you are in the area.

I sat at the bar and had the grilled chicken sandwich and a peach long island tea pitcher that’s on special for $5 on Saturdays. The bartender was friendly and my food was delicious. The LIT had a LOT of sweet and sour in it so it was really sweet, but otherwise good and strong. It was not busy at all so the bartender was attentive and efficient.

We ordered the melty cheese burger that is created table side. However our waitress never informed us that the materials need to do table side were unavailable due to safety issues. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. However the pink elephant and white wine sangria were were wonderful !!

Came here for late night dinner & drinks. It is connected to the Embassy Suites Hotel.
The food tastes outstanding and is fairly unique. Every day they have a different special on the menu.
I would give this place 5 stars if the price was a tad bit cheaper.
The best part about Houlihan's however, is that you feel like you're not in Denton. Definitely more of a Plano or Uptown Dallas restaurant vibe.

Our visit today was amazing! The food was great and our service was exceptional. Our family has had Kori as a server on quite a few occasions. She has such a welcoming personality that makes us feel right at home ! We love this place
