Sushi Yamazaki Bar & Grill

Loved it! Have already been twice and will definitely be going regularly! High quality sushi pieces can be hard to find the farther you get away from Dallas, but you can taste how fresh it is as they fly everything in. You won’t find a California roll on the menu, but their sushi pieces, crudo, yakitoris, and just about everything else on the menu is amazing.

Great sushi, some very unique dishes. You have to try the Hot Rock Waygu beef appetizer...to die for!! Wait staff service is hit or miss, like most all sushi places. In general, most college kids don't know how to provide great service.

So happy to have this chic restaurant in our neighborhood. Yes the are new and have some kinks to work out, but what a great start. The tapas style appetizers are fun. You get to try a little of everything. EVERYTHING we ordered (our second trip) was fantastic. Although we enjoyed the music, it was a bit loud for the size of the venue. I would recommend loosing some speakers and woofers. We will continue to visit as it is really great. Aaron former.y from Tokyo Samurai is very attentive and cares about customers. Give it. Try and you wont be disappointed.

First visit to Yamazaki was fantastic. Our server explained the whole menu and talked about the chef's vision. We had the shrimp poppers they were so good we ordered them again, hot rock to cook waygu beef at the table, the credo was delicious, light and vibrant with flavor, we tried the Dallas and Denton rolls that were great. You can tell the quality is a step up. Server said the menu will expand later once they get past grand opening.

Very cool atmosphere, fancy enough to take a date, but I could also go with some friends to sit and watch the football game. The server Aaron was awesome at explaining a menu that I would otherwise be unfamiliar with. Food was amazing quality and had very good flavor. The bar menu has not been fully made yet, however the one drink we order was very good. Would love to see Japanese cocktails make the menu since they are set up to have a great bar! I'll be back with friends to explore the menu.
