“My family and I love this Potbelly location. The food always tastes fresh. But, it would be nice if one of the 5 each staff members who were their today would have taken time out to wipe down the tables. Their were no food trays available to carry your food from the cash register to your table. So that means several trips back and forth from the cash register to the table. Also, there was only one paper napkin dispenser that had paper napkins in it. The one by the cash register was empty. In the mean time you have five employees behind the counter acting like they don't have anything to do. So, is this to much to ask for to have the napkin dispenser filled. The caring trays to be buy the cash register. The tables to be cleaned so the next customer can sit at a clean table ? I think the owner needs to talk to their employees and have them get their act together ! UPDATE : 03-29-2019 They did everything I asked for ! So I updated my review to 5 stars ! They had carrying trays available. The tables were clean. The napkin holders were full. The employees were outfront working no longer hiding in the back kitchen area. Thanks !!”

“I went on my lunch hour and had a coupon for $2.00 off their pick 2 for $6.99. A great deal just for joining the eclub. I chose the cup of loaded potato soup and a small ceasar salad. The cup of soup was just perfect for lunch and I couldn't finish the salad as it was big for a pick 2 item.. It was all great. I'll be back.”

“We have visited in the past more than once and frankly it was disappointing food and service and we avoided going back. Last night we happen to be going out late and Blue Goose stays open to 10:30 so it was our only option. We were pleasantly surprised by the much improved quality of service and food. A 2 star turned into a 4 star better experience. Service was very good and the food was far improved. We will go back and will recommend.”

“Update review: Just found out they do brunch. Great menu with great options. Everything looked good, but I could only choose one option. Love this place. The lobster bisque is amazing along with the pull apart bread appetizer. Salads are great and delicious. The entrees are hand designed with care and at a expert level. Jim Verf has put together an amazing flavorful menu. The bartenders are very knowledgeable, Nick is great and continued to help me determine what I wanted to explore for my pallet. Love this place and I always know that I am going to get 5 star service.”

“Went for the first time for my birthday with my family. The food was so good! The chef at the hibachi was very funny and interactive. The other staff were friendly and everyone seemed happy to be there. We called to make a reservation so we would be guaranteed the hibachi experience. They also have a table dine in area that is very nice looking and next time we come we are going to sit there. Their prices are around what you would expect for hibachi and good sushi. We had a great time! We will be going back 100%!!!”

“First visit. Totally surprised us at what great breakfast & lunch choices were on the menu. We had a large homemade oatmeal, and scrambled eggs w/ham. Both excellent and tasty. The Manager-Gigi waited on us and was happy, very friendly, and helpful in bringing us exactly what we wanted, which was different from the menu. Prices were very reasonable, & food delivered quickly, even though the Cafe was crowded. Breakfast blend coffee was fine. Gigi said she & the kitchen staff have been working together for many years. “Solid 4 ☆ experience. The food is good for all you can eat. I do believe that some adjustments need to be made for clearer understanding of the new system. But it feels explained after your first confusing visit, but it is intimidating the first time ordering. I like the paper system though. Its sushi. You should WANT it made fresh. Other little (minimal) tweaks would be the miso soup, it had no toppings out for it and as a japanese establishment, that feels almost insulting. The hot appetizers do need to be checked on more frequently. Went there and about half of them were empty during my whole visit of an hour and most were not refilled.”

“This location has a dream team on staff. It is evident that the staff works well together. Very consistent, precise and timely service. The manager Jacob treated me with the utmost respect, had a smile on his face and recommended many items off the menu. He even asked me how my day was going! Another staff member named Spencer came out to my table and asked if he could refill my drink. I’m happy to see such pride in his actions. This kind of service is why I am a repeat customer! “3 stars for the atmosphere and 5 stars for the food...so landed at 4 stars. Being gluten and dairy-free, I haven't visited Salerno's in years. So when they moved close to my home in Highland Village, I tried it out with my daughter. We ordered pizza and to my surprise, they had a gluten-free option. It actually was really GOOD! Even with no cheese. I'd order again. But the atmosphere & layout of the dining area was poorly planned. Luckily, we were seated in a booth at the very far end of their dining space, and it was cozy and created a better dining experience. But that huge open space in the middle was poorly laid out. I'd suggest they add another long row of booths and lighting to the Highland Village Road side of the dining area to "bring it all in" a little. It's a very odd layout. In the end, I'll pass on their dine-in experience and stick to being a take-out customer on that GF pizza for sure!!”

The bar is well stacked, and I meet the owner, John, and he's supper nice.
