MrJims.Pizza Roanoke

Absolutely a great hidden treasure in Roanoke. Pizzas are great. Salads are full and delicious with numerous choices. Prices are great and staff polite and considerate. Definitely a MUST try.

Took awhile to get here, but this food is the same price as chain pizza, but with more flavor and higher quality ingredients. It's also more food for the money, item for item. The lady even called me to let me know they were out of one of the items I wanted, and was very polite. I will definitely be ordering a lot of Jim's instead of the usual chain.

I hardly give reviews anymore and even when I did, I don't think I ever experienced a service that warranted a 5 ????, until today that is. I'm a truck driver and I am stuck here in Roanoke, TX because I had no hours of service left to where I could move my truck. I ordered a vegetarian pizza from MrJims Pizza here in Roanoke last night and thinking I still had a bottle of water in my truck, I didn't bother trying to order any. After I went out walking last night, I returned to my truck and discovered that I in fact had NO water. I was very thirsty last night. Today at 1:34pm, I called and ordered a fajita chicken salad and desperately inquired about water. They were sold out and in desperation I inquired whether or not the driver would be willing to stop by a gas station or a store and get me some. At this point I hadn't had water for nearly two days. The driver said he would be happy to do so. Where I'm from, they don't care so much. Not only was he extremely fast in delivery, he brought me my MUCH needed water. Same gentleman who had apparently made and delivered my veggy pizza last night. Since I didn't know I was going to be stuck here for as long as I have been, I didn't stop by an A.T.M for extra cash, so I gave the driver (Bob) was his name what I had. I was kind of embarrassed it wasn't more, simply because he took the time to get me water when he didn't need to, but he seemed happy with the tip, for which I'm grateful. What put this whole experience over the top for me was the fact that right before he was getting ready to leave, he reached back into his car and grabbed a large bag of bottled water he had purchased the other day for himself and just handed it to me. I was floored. 15-20 years ago, acts of kindness such as this we're pretty common, today not so much. I almost turned into a blubbering fool. I wanted to hug the guy, but since I didn't feel like having a broken nose, lol, I just thanked him profusely. Thank you Mr.Jims pizza from the bottom of my heart, your good food, prompt service and caring hearts was an experience I probably will never forget. Love you all and ☮️
