“1/22/22: I ordered the new catfish dinner, with fried okra and green beans, paired with the new sweet mango tea. I enjoyed the catfish and fried okra both had good flavor, the green beans were not good. The sweet mango tea was decent but nothing great, the service was okay but it appeared the ordering speaker wasn't working very well as they couldn't hear me. At the time of my visit they were out of a lot of products, such as chicken ribs etc. The prices here are pretty high currently, so just prepare to pay quite a bit.”

“4/1/2022: I ordered a Caniac combo with extra toast butter on both sides instead of the coleslaw. The chicken was so hot and fresh and juicy chicken strips. The drive through line moved very quickly even though it was busy, and the employees were very friendly. I also got a 32 ounce cup of Canes sauce to enjoy with my meal. I highly recommend trying out this brand new restaurant in Odessa. 🔥”

I’m a fan of a good spicy salsa and both salsas that come with it kinda just tasted like red enchilada sauce, which I gotta mention my friend of softer taste buds loved the salsa! “8/25/2022: I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice/ chow main with a pork egg roll on the side. The food was amazing and very generous portion size, the food tasted hot and fresh. The employees were extremely nice and helpful, the prices are fair and worth the cost. Kung Fu China Express is located inside of Music City Mall. “It's good. Honestly the only reason I'm leaving 3 stars is I get certain foods to avoid certain things. I've NEVER seen a place not only put 2 types of onions in the rice but this is now 2 times in a row my rice is no joke 1/3 onion. Couldn't even finish it. The fact this is now 2 times in a row I pay for a meal that ends up in the trash. Dogs can't eat onion so couldn't even give it to them it was that bad. NO MORE ONION! LOL”

“Stopped by El Taco Loco Birrieria Food Truck for a taste of these highly requested tacos. I had the birria tacos with cheese minus the cilantro and onion. These tacos had a very good flavor as expected especially with the juices! These were hot, fresh, and delicious! My honey had the carne asada tacos 🌮 and he stated they were good. I definitely prefer the birria. We tried the plain churros and they were good and crunchy! I wish food trucks would have tables and chairs to be able to sit down and enjoy your food instead of eating in the car or waiting to take it home.”

“It’s Friday, 5:30 p.m. I am not cooking dinner. The week has been long and I am tired. Who wants a cheese burger and fries?! Me! I pass Stars Drive-in on my way to and from work and it beckons me with the sweet siren song of burgers and fries like I used to get from the diners of my youth. One summer, I waitressed at a dinner that had a grill just for the burgers. I was a terrible waitress but I stuck it out to get my free meal every evening after dinner rush. This isn’t a $15 gourmet burger and foo-foo fries meal. It’s a serious burger and fries meal for people who want to eat where they want to eat and not have to sit in a restaurant with other people. And it’s really good food. No pretensions. No big ego. No “experience” dining. I just wish the dude from the commercials was there, waving a spatula, yelling BIT BY HUNGER? CALL THE SPATULAW!”
