Deserto Pizzeria

Easily one of the better pizzerias in El Paso in my humble opinion. Serving Neapolitan style pizzas that are pleasing to the eyes and mouthwatering. The sauce, the ingredients, and the slightly charred crust are to die for. The atmosphere and service was refreshingly welcoming and pleasant for 4 pm on a Saturday. I would definitely recommend visiting Deserto Pizzería. Ben fatto!

Real wood-fire pizza! This place was quaint and cozy for a quick bite. Highly recommend the “Hot Stuff” pizza. Pizza came out fast but the drink selection wasn’t all that great. I’d still go back for the pizza tho!

Delicious thin crust pizzas made in a wood burning open oven. I had take out the first time and this time visited just after opening on a Friday. I’m a big fan of their “Hot Stuff” pizza. The thinly sliced Serrano peppers and chili oil are a great combo. They have great wines and serve local beers. I had Aurellia’s Golden Age lager. The outdoor seating is inviting and they have outdoor heaters. The inside is quaint with limited seating area. I enjoyed the beautiful sunset over our mountains and the cool music. Sweet vibe, friendly staff and delicious pizza. I’ll have to try a new type of pizza next time. So glad they are in our neighborhood!

There is mostly outdoor seating but they have heat lamps out there. The pizzas are personal size and are the exact amount of pizza you want to eat on a Wednesday. The service was prompt and super nice. They have a staunch stance on ranch and don’t have it but the pizza has enough flavor and is delicious enough without it. Definitely coming back.

Pros: It's a nice spot in the neighborhood. Nice to eat there during nicer weather, a bit rough when it's hot outside. Staff are friendly and decent service

Cons: The first time we tried the pizza the crust was very burnt not very enjoyable. We decided to give it a second chance and the crust wasn't as burnt. The toppings are average. I ordered the fungi pizza and it was flimsy with all the toppings sliding off when I picked it up. The pepperoni and basil was fine.

Overall feel it's an average pizza that's over priced.
