I mean my hun and myself enjoyed enchiladas, salad of tomatoes and lettuce, beans and rice plus a drink (shared because we are just a bit too broke but we're starving) for under $20 the cashier which I believe also Cooks and might be the owner or Co-owner was extremely nice and a very honest and patient person. Even if they aren't the boss they definitely were considerate.”

“An attractive place with good service. However the price is too high for the quality of food. I got eggplant pamigiana for $14 and I could only taste the sauce and cheese. My husband got the Italian plate with a variety. It was also $14. The amount was huge and could have been easily split between at least 2 people. He liked the spaghetti, but he said everything else was too seasoned. My antipasto salad was good but didn't makeup for the very mediocre eggplant. In fairness to them, my daughter and son-in-law like the restaurant very much.”

“This is my second stop at Tepalca. I love the fresh food served here and the warm people. Nearly every menu option has fresh options such as fruit to be included in them. From the dishes to the sides to drinks and desserts, all of them can be enjoyed with fresh fruit. I love this. I enjoy their tacos immensely here, especially the conchita pabil and asada meat filled tacos. I also like the flautas and quesadillas as well. The deserts are a big draw for many people and I especially enjoy the eschamocha which is a delightful fruit filled cream delight with granola topped on it. Their horchata is also very very good and is served in a massive cup, ice chilled. The prices are very reasonable at Tepalca as well, with a lunch available for less than 10 a person. I stop at Tepalca everytime I visit El Paso. A great fresh and fast version of mexican food.”

“Been coming here for 20 years, love the food. Consistency is sometimes an issue, but mainly is delicious. Sometimes they higher younger staff that need a bit more pep in their step. But overall no real complaints, I just don't tip the bad ones. And I tip heavy on the good ones and hope they'll figure it out, but I go for the food, as long as that's good, then the service is just a bonus when it's sharp.”
