Great food, friendly staff. Chicken fried steak was tender, veggies tssty. Great BLT...toast and bacon perfectly cooked. Crunchy homemade onion rings that were not too greasy. We will eat here again for sure.
Very good food. The chicken fried steak is the go to dish. The onion rings could have used a bit more salt and pepper in the batter and they would have been perfect. But overall still really good ????.
Without a doubt, these are the best onion rings I have ever tasted! Lovely little place with courteous servers. If you go to Ennis to see the Bluebonnets stop in for a meal. The chicken fried steak sandwich was terrific also.
Not a large fancy place but very comfortable. Great service. Food is excellent...homemade onion rings, fried catfish, best tartar sauce, big hamburger..with delicious homemade buns, home cooked veggies, best tarter sauce, etc.etc. I went with my son and daughter in law. My first time there....can't wait to go back and try other things.
Great food friendly service and good prices. Try the pecan crusted chicken or they even did that for me on chicken fried steak and it was a great change. Wife had ribeye steak and it was cooked perfect. Then their German chocolate pie is best I have ever had. Very rich and creamy and was homemade. Don't live in Ennis but when we pass through again we will stop here again.
