“We aren't typically people who "go out" very often. My dear friend suggested the Deer Lease & we went with open minds & no particular expectations. What we ended up with was a terrific experience. The atmosphere was great & the patrons were relaxed. The service was quick & the staff was very friendly. The owner was at the location & 100% delightful ♡♡♡♡ This could easily become the only place I would willingly leave the comfort of our home to visit after dark. “I ordered the beef chimichanga to go. They gave me chips & hot sauce to go with it and I didn’t even have to ask for it. The chimichanga was one of the best I’ve eaten. The hot sauce and chips was excellent too! Great place to eat!! Tea was very good too.”

“Since the restaurant changed owners as of 12/31/2018 it has lost a customer service quality. I love the old Sonic and the new one is alright, but since Jake DeJulio left it has lost its heart. The food is still the same, but management is lacking unless Jennifer H or Cynthia are there. That is the reason for the 4 stars.”

“Six of us at the table and we were all very happy with our meals. First my father-in-law ordered onion rings for the table. They were so good, but be careful. They have a kick you're not expecting. Same thing with the chicken fried steak, but I loved it. I was setting with my back against the wall, so the waitress had to hand me my plate. I almost dropped it because it was so heavy with food. Come hungry and still take some home. The staff was fantastic. I liked eating in a place where there is room between the tables. I didn't feel like I was having dinner with the people at the table next to me. Great concept that other restaurants could take lessons from. We're definitely going back.”
