My wife and I were absolutely blown away by this place! The interior/exterior design was SO creative and unique. Felt like we were in another world. The owner is so nice and welcoming and made us feel like we were eating in her own home. Such a great vibe. I cannot say enough about this place. We are officially regular customers!

Charming little spot for creative, hand crafted coffee drinks, sandwiches, salads and treats 😋 Local Roots is conveniently located in the heart of the Round Top “downtown” area with antiques and art galleries mere steps away. It was perfect for our party who worked up an appetite while shopping all day! The owner was so sweet— even though her cafe was BUSY busy BUSY she made the time to make us feel at home, come by to check on us and brew us fresh iced tea. Doesn’t get more hospitable than that!! 😍

Amazing food and super friendly!! They went above and beyond to help make our weekend as special as possible!!! Great communication and help with getting things set up before we arrived and then also for breakfast!!!!

Absolutely delicious! Such a cute place to sit in and grab tasty lunch. Their signature chicken salad sandwich and pasta salad was yummy! I would definitely eat here again.

Excellent food and really good coffee options as well. Salads are big and bright, sides are tastey, sandwiches excellent, and dessert is home made goodness (have a Ding Dong!)
The inside is incredibly well decorated as you might expect of a shop in Round Top central. Owner is very nice and accommodating.
Hours are a little odd, so unfortunately don't bank on what's posted, but our whole town is odd so par for the course.
