Black Tie Bbq

Went expecting great brisket, and it exceeded my expectations. What I did not expect was being blown away by the pork ribs. As icing on the cake, the cheese grits were excellent, and the banana pudding as good as I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back. Live 15 minutes from Killens but will be (gladly) driving the half hour to Black Tie next time I want BBQ.

Great service the guys working were laid back easy going. The potato salad was okay, I felt like something was missing something... love the thick chunks. The pork ribs had that Great smokey flavor and smell! Covered in a pepper rub no sauce needed! tender fall of the bone good, not salty or greasy. I have to go back to try the beef ribs. Recommend brisket. They really shine with the brisket. Lean and regular ( I prefer regular ) great when paired with the sauce! Wooo its soft, chewy and tender good to throw on a potato or sandwhich if you got 1.

The price was slightly more than some BBQ places but i got full off the 2 meat 1 side I didn't feel ripped off. They take debit/credit cards too.

Possibly the best BBQ in Texas - and I've had almost all on the Texas Monthly Top 50. The pork ribs are perfection and the brisket will make Texas Monthly's top 10 in state when they re-rank in a few years (I have no doubt). Cheese grits, cream corn, peach cobbler, and banana pudding - my family loved everything we tried!

I’m not sure you can get a better pork rib this side of central Texas. By far the best peach cobbler.
