“Okay I've just lost all credibility. I'm giving hearts chicken a five-star review. But I got to tell you you get what you pay for. It's not a gourmet place. It's an old building. And the food is relatively cheap. But the staff there are excellent friendly and it's one of the better places to grab some chicken livers. Maybe in reality they only deserve 3 stars but I think the staff there is doing a great job and I appreciate them so you get five stars. But really the food three stars at best.”

“Came to Houston to visit family that lived nearby... this was the first place they took me to after getting off the plane and I am so glad they did! Had the best breakfast taco I've ever had, had potatoes and bacon and eggs in it. Very friendly owners who introduced themselves to me, waited only a couple minutes for my tacos. Taco shell tasted like it was home made. Highly recommend this place for a quick stop, inexpensive, filling and delicious home made taco!”

I order a chocolate extreme Blizzard that requires coco-fudge, and anyone who likes this in their Blizzard knows that you need a decent amount put in there... they did not put nearly enough and my treat was more vanilla than chocolate. I ordered a Medium and they charged for a Medium, but gave me a small (or at least what is a small at my usual location). I guess each location independently decides what cup they will use for each size. Luckily, I was returning from Houston and just passing through, so I won't have a need for this location again.”

“After dinner I was happened to be in this area and saw Smoked n Chopped and got super excited to see them back. I used to get briskets all the time when they were on highway six in a food truck. I am happy that they are back, bigger and better. As I was already had dinner i decided to get 1/2 pound of beef briskets (it comes with white bread and BBQ sauce) which was super delicious and awesome. I love it. I was happy to eat them again after so many years. Will visit this place again and I recommend everyone to try this place out.”

“This is a well run facility. They have experienced staff and the main cook does an incredible job making the orders as requested. It is important to use their code words for options which ate listed on the menu. The area manager was there filling in as needed and was friendly and helpful. The staff was very comfortable around him. The tables were clean, staff was friendly and service was excellent. Bathrooms were clean.”
