la Madeleine French Bakery & Café First Colony

My all time favorite place to eat. You can't go wrong with anything but the chicken la Madeleine is the best.

Best location in the Houston area. Super clean and staff is always in a good mood. I always order Chicken Parisian sandwich with tomatoe basil soup, Pasta La Madeleine or Pesto Pasta. Love almost all there desserts.

I was contacted by Adolfo Hernandez, the General Manager for The Town Center Blvd., Sugar Land location. I was pleased, but not surprised, that they corrected the situation to my satisfaction. That's why I love La Madeleine! Thank you, from a pleased customer.

I love La Madeleine, but today, not so much. I placed a $26 order via the app. Easy enough. I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery, so I scheduled this pick up before it got too busy, so I could park close. I hobbled in, lol. She read the items on my ticket, and I went back to the car with the bag. At the last minute, I decided to check the bag. No pasta salad which was the side for my sandwich , and no galette. I tried calling , hoping someone could bring it to my car. After being
on permanent hold, I went back in, and picked up my missing items. A rather frustrating experience.

I never had a problem with their food. I ordered a chocolate cake and a cup of coffee the last time I went which was good. They just recently renovated the restaurant and it has more of a bright clean look but still has the old French style which I really enjoyed.

Reasonable to high prices, but an AMAZING selection and it tastes so good. I recommend the tomato basil soup or the chicken pesto crepe to anyone, even picky eaters like myself. The place was really crowded around 1 when we got here, but we went through the line quickly and had at least a few tables to choose from. This visit was my third time here and I’ll be back.
