“A newly opened salad shop in Sugar Land, boasts two drive-thru lanes, and sells awesome food. Parking is limited. I counted, there are 6 parking spots and 1 handicap space. Since there wasn’t any space for me to park when I went, I opted for drive-thru. Ordering was easy. The staff were very nice and polite. Currently they are having a promotion: buy a salad or a wrap with a drink, it will be $7.99. I had the roasted autumn salad with tofu which was delicious. The ingredients were room temperature and fresh. I had the cucumber mint drink which was refreshing. I would go back to try other food items.”

“The food was plated like artwork and the ingredients were fresh. The shaggy dog and eggplant in garlic sauce had large portions and were delicious! The Boba milk tea had just the right amount of sweetness at 100%, not too sweet. Definitely want to come back.”

“First time here and I'm totally impressed with how simply great things are. It's not a fancy atmosphere, however they have some good sophisticated wines to taste. The wings & chicken strips are huge! I ordered an 8 piece thinking it was little ones like the other wing place... We didn't finish half of our food! We did finish the wine 🍷”

“This is a great place to watch your favorite sport while enjoying your favorite beverage. Spectators Bar & Grill has a huge covered patio to enjoy the weather as well. They also have a juke box that you can play through an APP on your phone when the game or sporting event is not being played.”

“Delicious food! We had the Butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, pani puri, chole bhature, dahi ballah, mango rasmalai, and galub jamun. All were AMAZING! The spices blended beautifully and each dish was a unique treat. I've also had some of these dishes to go and they heat up really well.”

“Wonderful service! The owner, super nice, explained every dish and how it's special to their region in China. We ordered the Beef Noodle Soup. The great thing about this (compared to Pho or Ramen) is the beef is big tender chunks braised in the broth. So good. Huge qty and only $10! Everything's halal We also got the pan fried dumplings, also excellent. I'm going to try their roast chicken next”

“Another coffee shop review in a long list of coffee shop reviews I’ve been putting off. I came to Rang (Roasted) Coffee during their soft opening. I’m very excited to see a Vietnamese coffee shop open up in Sugar Land! I like the vibe here. I came during lunch and it was pretty busy. It still had the chill vibe of a coffee shop study spot albeit the hip hop jamming from the speaker which is right up my alley. The decorations in the shop are cool and it has a modern vibe. I ordered a few drinks while there to try some out. First I ordered the Rang Super Sữa Đá. It was good. It’s like a ca phê sữa đá but stronger. I didn’t notice a huge difference in taste but it wasn’t bad at all. It’s also not on the menu, so you may have to ask for it specifically if they do not mention it to you. Their version of ca phê muối , the Rang salted cold foam was okay. I thought compared to some I’ve had in Bellaire/Alief it was a bit light. It was good but not great. The Matcha Rouge Euphoria was a bit light on the matcha for my taste and the strawberry flavor which was very sweet overpowered the drink for me, even after mixing thoroughly. I like the idea but the balance was off in the execution. I did really like the butter croissant. It tasted great. At $3 per croissant, I’m not sure I’d order another however when I could go by very closely and grab a bành mì for $6. It did taste good though. With the lack of Vietnamese coffee shops in the area, it’s exciting to see one open up. If you have time to go to Bellaire/Alief you may find more traditional and established coffee shops with a more authentic selection but Rang will make a name for itself in Sugar Land. It is definitely catering to a younger demographic and thus may be not everyone’s cup of coffee but it will definitely stand out as a modern take on Vietnamese coffee. I’ll return soon just because I enjoyed the vibe, it’s close by and convenient and it’s unique for the area. Drop by and see for yourself!”

“I must confess Taiwanese breakfast is my kind of food. From the sweet soybean drinks to rice roll to fried stick eggs pancakes, it’s so delicious. I love it in Taipei and I love it here. My only complaint is the rice rolls has too much rices on the roll, kind of like I don’t like sushi that’s wrapped with too much rice just to make the item appears bigger.”

“Chinese buffet, the price is affordable, but found that it is not as good as before, the taste is too salty, the seafood is not fresh enough, the variety of dishes is too few. The crayfish tastes bad. Crabs lose the taste of seafood because they are fried. I hope the merchants can improve it. Usually, the passenger flow is decreasing, because the food variety is small, there is no interest!”

“Have been reading ba lot of mixed reviews but it ended up being a good experience. The ambience and the decor is great. The service was very nice. We decided to go with the server's recommendations. Loved the Chicken Behari kebabs they were well cooked and delicious. We tried the Potohari chicken karahi and the Namak Mandi Goat karahi - liked both the flavours. The family naan is their highlight but I liked their garlic naan more. Overall it was a good experience and definitely going back to try other items.”

“Who knew a corn dog shop could be so awesome? Flavors are great and all the combinations work together. The potato crust is a little over the top to eat, but still tasty! Even the traditional American corn dog breading is really good. Will definitely come back.”

“This place is owned by a half Albanian/ half Italian. The inside is clean and the decor is pleasant. I love the wall with the Brooklyn bridge and reminds me of my time in NYC. the Albanian/Greek server was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. On her recommendation I ordered a half Brooklyn special and half chicken pesto. The Brooklyn special has almost everything on it and was my favorite. So many little bites that were full of flavor and texture. The crust was thin and crispy. Sauce was ok but the ingredients were the star. I would get this again. The chicken pesto was on the milder side. I think it’s meant to be this way. Nothing wrong with this pizza but it’s not my preference. I think I’d rather have something with more punch. I also ordered buffalo wings. Sauce was as expected. The wings weren’t overcooked where it comes out dry. Instead it was moist. I would get it again. Hawaiian had good flavors, pineapple was sweet, ham flavorful. I always like to have jalapenos for an extra kick. Funghi mushrooms were tasty. Onions weren’t sharp but actually sweet. Really good overall. Spaghetti marinara wasn’t bad. Meat sauce was tasty. Ordered with garlic bread and salad with Italian dressing. I appreciated that the Italian dressing was home made and quite tasty. Glad it wasn’t typical store bought dressing. Finally the owner came out to greet the customer and offered complimentary lemon cello. It was good. Moist, not too sweet and lemony. Finally there is a pizzeria I can go to Houston and is comparable to NYC.”

“Overall a happy experience. Didn’t know its halal and the food price tag is a bit high. But the portion is good and the steak is fresh. Even the rice is a good medium grain rice, which in my humble opinion is better than long grain rice. Now to the lacking side. Kids meal had to come from Kitchen. Thats a bummer. All kids want to watch their food cooked at hibachi, but they honestly cannot finish their food. If kids meal can be a part of hibachi, even if conditional on other hibachi purchases for example, would make the offering so much more sincere and attractive to families. The soup is really, hm, just clear water with msg maybe. Salads got quite a bit of dressing on top and is fresh, but they didn’t care to drain the water thoroughly. So it is drenched in diluted dressing. Our young chef still can improve his cooking skills. With the at being said the fresh food quality was able to cover that. The fried rice is on the bland side. Not about saltiness, but that good smell coming from high heat frying is lacking a bit. Medium grain rice can absorb more sauce and still maintain that slight bouncy chew, so it superior, but it also needs a bit more time to bring the temperature back high again after putting soy sauce, to get the aroma out. Green onion should help too. But hey, I am an Aisan who is really good at cooking fried rice myself, so I am on the picky side. Overall it was great experience. The waitress is nice and attentive. The house is also generous to give a free appetizer if we follow facebook. Just thought my two cents can help them improve, because the soup, salad and fried rice are not expensive to improve, but this trio is the work horse to enhance the whole package and the experience.”
