Big Ben Tavern

Moved to Sugarland a little over a year ago. Definitely one of the more relaxed hang outs we’ve visited and haven’t ordered anything off the menu that wasn’t great. Has become the go-to spot for my wife and I to blow off steam. Service staff always very friendly.

Its a nice enough place. With it's English archetuctue and designs it's very well put together but the music doesn't fit the scene and is way too loud. The ambience felt more bar than English pub. It's St. Paddys day play a bit of Irish music. Plus we were shouting and could barely hear each other.

Big Ben was pretty nice. It would be classified as a English or British Pub. From the decor, to the polished wood around the bar, it has a nice pub atmosphere with friendly staff and relaxed dress patrons.

Bombay next door may be closed, but the menu here at Big Ben's is pretty good. Steak nights, burger specials and crawfish days are sure to have you stopping by and check this place out!

Wow the Thursday $5 burgers were AMAZING here! Our server was so friendly and sweet. Food came out fast, I also ordered a drink and that was delicious too! Will definitely come back

Great steak and Bourbon - frequent business traveler- I stayed at the hotel across the street. When I asked the hotel staff about this place, they didn't say anything bad, but didn't recommend the food. They were WRONG. Based on that info, I came in thinking I was only going to have a Bourbon. They do have a great selection, and I chose the Angels Envy. The staff was very friendly and described the steak special they had on Tuesday. It's off menu, sounded tasty, so I decided to go for it. Glad I did. Very well prepared, good cut of 10oz Tenderloin, and cooked perfectly. As previously stated, I'm a business traveler, in a dress shirt and jacket. Felt very comfortable here, with a good mix of customers. Amber and Haya at the bar were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.
