Stumbled upon this place. Cool vibe, barista seemed like a nice girl. I ordered coffee, and a couple of things that got me were that 1. she didn’t run water through the paper filter beforehand and 2. she didn’t let the water from the boil nozzle cool down for a little bit before starting the brew.

These two decisions made a difference because my coffee tasted burnt and cardboard-like. Over time, I could taste a hint of the notes I was expecting, but all in all this affected the brew.
Still significantly better than Starbucks, but I would just make sure the baristas are aware of this so as to avoid holding back what could be the best coffee in Sugar Land. :)

I have been enjoying this restaurant for about a year. My go to lunch is a Feel Good Bowl and a Republic Milk. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. I'm also very happy with the price point of the salads. If service was a bit faster/friendlier, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Update: service has been super fast and friendly the past few times so I changed the rating to 5 stars. I am trying the Health Nut Bowl. It is absolutely delicious. What a great spot!

Great breakfast place. Or if you're feeling for a fast, healthy snack, this would be the place to go. Great variety of juices, customizable bowls, and salads. Had the totally nuts bowl (to share as a fast snack), and everyone loved it. Staff is friendly and helpful.
