Drakes Burgers And Shakes

This was a great surprise to find them in our area. The lemon pepper wings great - Oreo shake great. What’s not great is their menu online. Totally outdated. Everything I originally ordered when I got there they did not have. Tried a second time - kept it simple chicken sandwich. Was told well yeah menu not correct but we can take a chicken breast place it on our burger and then charge YOU more. Seriously? Not impressed with how they care for their customers when we try to support small businesses. Do your part - update the menu and when YOU can’t offer what YOU have advertised make amends and don’t put that on the customers. Hope it gets better.

Awesome burgers. I've been to burger shops all around town and this one you gotta try it. One of the best. Less impressed with the hot dog but still interesting in the way they prepared if. I just dont get the theme. Its like supposed to be fancy, but they serve burgers, and it supposed to be a sports bar with wine.

When I’m craving something sweet, I ask my husband to bring home a birthday cake or cookie dough shake. They’re made with homemade cookie dough and fresh baked cake. They don’t disappoint. My husband says the service is always great, and the owner is very friendly!

Hands down the BEST burger spot in the area. I haven't had a disappointing meal there yet. Burgers, Hot dogs, even Chicken Fried Steaks have all been great along with a variety of fries for your choice. We also never go without getting one of the many different shakes they offer. Cookie dough is always a favorite of the family and I try to order a different one for myself and they've all been great.

While there are plenty of nearby restaurants for a fast burger, I came away impressed with Drake's as filling the gap for a more gourmet burger experience.

As you can see from photos, the burger patty is thick and juicy. Well seasoned and savory. A few reviews mentioned the patty being salty. My wife and I didn't have an issue with ours but I can see how it might be too salty for some. Fries were crispy, just how I like them. Chocolate milkshake was thick and rich.

While I only went to pick up my order, I was really impressed with the interior of the restaurant. It's contemporary with a bar area. Not entirely sure if they sell alcoholic beverages, but it looks designed to be the kind of place you can go grab drinks after work or enjoy a nice wine with your burger.

I look forward to Drake's being my #1 choice for burgers.
