For starters our waitress Sara was very hospitable and friendly. She gave us recommendations on what to get since it was our first time eating here. We got Grand Anejo and Horchata for drinks and
Mango fish and Playa azul to eat. The drinks and food were very good. We will definitely return.
Talk about a great place for food, drinks & vibes. When we arrived the wait was about 50 minutes so we put our name on the list & less than 30 minutes later I got a call saying our table was ready. There was live music & the place was packed (not an uncomfortable packed but it was full). It didn't take our waitress long to get to us. We each ordered the top shelf margarita 🍹 & I had to question my life choices because I didn't know those drinks were so strong. Nevertheless, I ordered another one 🫣. Food was amazing my husband had the octopus 🐙 he enjoyed it. I ordered the steak & shrimp with a side of sauteed veggies. The steak was cooked to perfection. Veggies had the right about of firmness that I love & the quantity of rice that they serve was perfect. I think it was about either a 1/4 or 1/2 cup of rice. 10/10 our waitress was a delight. We'll definitely be back.
Arrived for dinner on a busy Saturday! Service was excellent as great as our food. Carolina our server was superb from start to finish and made sure we were happy. We ordered La Parillada Deliciosa for 2 perfect size for 2 comes with sides and tortillas! My Paloma Patron 💯😉Will return soon! Beautiful outdoor area!
Looking for a tasty and spacious Mexican restaurant with delicious food? Look no further than Lago Mariscos, where there's a welcoming atmosphere with tasty food and ample parking.
The interior is quite large and a comfortable space. We were seated quickly and enjoyed the lively music from the mariachi band that was playing that day. It added a festive touch to the entire dining experience.
The menu boasts a wide range of Mexican favorites, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor. We started with their guacamole, a must-have! The perfectly ripe avocados were mashed into a creamy and chunky concoction. It was a delightful way to kick off our meal.
For our main course, we opted for a variety of dishes, which was more than enough to share. The charred octopus was the star of the show – it was incredibly tender with a hint of smokiness and tasty marinade sauce that added a depth of flavor. Every bite was fresh and delicious!
To wash it all down, I couldn't resist their margaritas, which were a tasty sour and not too sweet balance to my meal.
This was our first visit here and all I can say is, come hungry!!! The portions were absolutely HUGE. I had to ask my wife 3x if she was sure she ordered a Small Fried Rice because it was so much. My plate was absolutely monstrous! Add that on top of the chips and our appetizer and it was way more than enough to eat.
As for the service, it was on point as was the atmosphere. Our Server was friendly and attentive. The staff made sure the chip bowl stayed full and drinks topped off.
The restaurant itself was very clean and definitely kid friendly. The only thing I would say on the downside is that if you or anyone in your family is Vegan, make sure they eat beforehand. They don't have any options, which disappointed my wife as she's Vegan.
If you're in the area, and craving seafood, it's definitely worth going. I can't wait to go back!
