The Rouxpour - Sugar Land

The gumbo is definitely on point. I ordered half a dozen oysters and can't be more happy. I also tried the catfish poor boy. No regrets! A must stop for sea food lovers. Great menu and good prices for the service and food quality.

Debbie, our server was great. The food was pretty tasty. Not the best quality of food and the presentation was limited. If not for Debbie, I probably would've rated it three stars, but she made the night go smoothly.

My husband and I went here for date night. The food was pretty good at the restaurant but the ambiance is like any other family style restaurant so do t go here for a nice night out. The dishes were slightly overpriced for the serving size. I was okay until I got home and opened up the take home dish my husband and I couldn’t wait to dig in to. We order their award winning gumbo to go and were highly disappointed by what we saw in the to go box. Broth with a couple slices of andouille sausages and tiny little shrimp. Now being married to a chef my husband quickly offered to fix it but I had to see what the award winner had to offer...needless to say it was underwhelming. Our server Paul was great and is one of the only reasons this rating got a three star. I recommend not hyping up a dish that clearly lacks luster.

My family and I came out today to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. It was over a dozen of us and we arrived and were quickly seated. Service was great!!! Kendra provides excellent service!!! She greeted us very cheerfully.

My visit was worth a positive review because of the remarkable service we received. We had arrived a few minutes before happy hour would end. And because our server came by quickly, we were able to put in orders for drinks and appetizers. I really enjoyed the Mexican martini which just seemed to have been perfectly made. The stuffed shrimp rouxpour was delicious as well. Everyone at the table had positive feedback about their meals and service.
