Tri-County Golf Club at the Vineyards

Found this course on Tee Off for very cheap so gave it a shot. It is a very short course but still a good layout. Front pretty open back is more narrow. Some holes are very narrow to make up for the distance. Kinda what I expected for out in the country. Fairways are mixture of grass, weeds and lots of clover. Greens very bumpy, some worse than the others. I will give them this it looks like they have fought flooding from all the rain. Some holes you can see water lines were up on the tree lines 3 or 4 foot deep. The staff were very friendly. I would not pay $40 which looks like the rack rate. But did enjoy playing once. With some TLC it could be a very good course.

This area is dry at this time but this course still has great fairways and greens.

My boyfriend and I were driving through this part of Texas and wanted to get a quick 9 in. The course was nicely kept and the staff was extremely friendly. If you're looking for a course with no pressure, and limited bunkers, this is the course for you. The back 9 was my favorite and I almost got a hole in one on a par 3. This small town feel golf course is a nice change of pace compared to many upscale golf clubs you find closer to Dallas/Houston. I highly recommend to any golfer.

Very nice course , greens are filling in nicely ! Staff working hard to improve the course !! Lunch was awesome best burger and chicken wings I've had in a while !! Definitely worth going out there will be back many times !!
