“Cozy small town diner specializing in Mexican dishes. The portions are not huge, but neither is the price tag. Their 10.00 or so meals will not break the bank nor will they leave you hungry. This place reminds me of my country town diner back home in the way the owner is greeting guests they've obviously know for a long time and taking an active role in assisting guests and staff. Great place and I will definitely be returning.”

“A unique bar set back in time. Smoking is permitted, unusual in this day and time. Pizza, steaks and wings to be enjoyed with a cold beer or mix drinks. Shoot pool, watch television or converse with those around you. We were from out of town but quickly blended into the the warm friendly atmosphere that surrounded us. “First of all, ignore the condition of the building - options for housing a business are limited in Pearsall and it in no way reflects upon the cleanliness of the kitchen. They get rushed at lunch, so plan ahead for that because it's worth the wait! What to concentrate on is that it's family-run with all homemade ingredients, including many of the salad dressings. Their pizza bread (homemade sub sandwich bread with pizza toppings) is my all-time favorite! Plus you can't beat the price and iced tea refills :) Be nice to the staff and they'll take good care of you.”

“Went to this place years ago wasn’t impressed. Decided to give them a second chance and was blown away. Ordered their 1/2 chicken plate pinto beans and slaw. Chicken was cooked to perfection beans are good as was the slaw. The bbq sauce is hands down the best around. Definitely going back this hitch”
