BLVD Seafood

Small quaint restaurant across the street from the ocean. Good views of the water and the pier.
Shrimp and grits were outstanding. Creamy grits with a great sauce. Shrimp were cooked perfectly. The stacked fish platter???, hope that's correct, had a mushroom risotto that was very good but was lacking salt for our taste.

Generally speaking the food was great. The kitchen was in the weeds and the wait was a little longer than what we would have like for our food. None the less it was still great.

While we did not order desert, we did see several bread puddings go out and it looked amazing. Every plate was returned empty.

Good food casual atmosphere and the server was prompt but not familiar. We enjoyed our time here.

Great spot on the strip. We enjoyed our food very much. I had enough left to take home and enjoy again the next day. Great cocktails. We have been here before for happy hour as well and they have some good deals. Great service and enjoy the atmosphere. It could earn a fifth star from me if they improved their craft beer selection!

This is a hidden gem on the seawall! Don’t let the outside full ya. This is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. Not a place kids would enjoy, do not quit remember any thing for kids on the menu.... but they might have something. expect to pay a little more for this place, more upscale.

Calamari and stuffed shrimp and crab appetizers is what we had.

BLVD is one of our new favorites. We've had seafood in several Galveston restaurants, but none are as good as BLVD. The crab cake recipe is incentive and delicious. The bread pudding is the best I've had in years. The mac and cheese is decadent. The BLVD staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is casual and inviting. We will definitely be going back.

Looked all around Galveston for good food only to happen upon this place when another nearby closed early. Turned out to be the best food we’ve ever had on the island. Would highly recommend. Got the special and it was big enough to feed two of us. Red snapper was really good and so was the chowder! The mousse was also delicious - would highly recommend!!
