I appreciated both the finesse and complex flavors of my salad special of the day. I love to cook, so when someone else prepares and presents a dish that represents hours of work and is delicious? I'm impressed!

Good food, hip and cozy atmosphere and a cute outdoor seating area! If you are visiting Galveston and want to have breakfast with the locals, come here! If you are a local looking for a nice cafe tucked into the neighborhoods, come here!

While I have only been in Galveston for less than 24 hours. The Mosquito Cafe lived up to its hype. From the time we walked in we were greeted with open arms as if we’ve been friends for years. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is amazing. I had the corned beef hash tacos with a side of eggs. From the first to the last bite you could taste every bit of flavor. Everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended this fine establishment.

Beautiful atmosphere! I love the design and plants added. It made my experience home-like. The service was quick and friendly. However, I believe that the food came out too quickly. My corned beef dinner was mildly warm and seemed to have been sitting out for a while. I also paid too much for my meal for what is was worth. The portions were small and my drink (iced tea) cost me 4 dollars. The quality of the tea was high on the contrary. I would recommend this place to my closest family, but not to my close acquaintances.

Great place off the tourist area. Cant speak to the food because i just wanted some coffee and dessert which was wonderful. The sweets are all made by the bakery across the street Pattie Cakes, which is the best! Definitely want to come back for a meal though. Their menu looks amazing.
