My husband got me hooked on this place. The shrimp is caught fresh in the gulf and cooked as you wait. Soooooo delicious, soooooo fresh! Great price, as well. We get it to go every Friday night. I highly recommend!!
I just had the best shrimp that I've tasted since I arrived on Galveston the first of January. Huge, lightly breaded and very hot. I will definitely be back.
There are a few similar places in Galveston, but this one is the best I have been to. Fresh and flavorful, they specialize in fries shrip and they do that one thing really well.
I'm in Houston for work and found this place on Google Maps so when I stopped in Galveston I went here and got the Cajun shrimp. Fresh shrimp fried to perfection with just the right seasoning and a friendly cook to boot. Definitely recommend this food truck!
Everything was amazing at first. We ate at the dock and the shrimp was fresh, delicious, and perfect. The customer service was top notch. Fast, friendlyHowever, we also ordered the crab sticks which are basically frozen fake crab battered and fried. They were awful. We didn't open them until we got home from Galveston and i bit into one that was still fully encased in plastic. Somehow, they battered a plastic covered crab stick, and fried it. Which says a lot about the texture of the crab stick even without the plastic wrap. Stick to the fresh shrimp. It's amazing. 10/10 will return for shrimp ONLY.
