5 stars. I had the chicken fried steak with the chicken gravy and my lady had a brisket sandwich. Both were awesome. Do not forget the cold draft beer. We had a very clean and professional server. Very attentive.
The sausage and their country-fried steak sandwiches are very good here. I got their ribs however I found a lot of fat in the batch I was served but the flavor was good - so your experience may vary. The side dishes were good but nothing to brag about. If I had the chance to go back I would probably try more of their seafood.
The service was great, our server had just started couple of days prior to my dining experience but he seemed to already know the menu, he came around periodically to check on us and he was very friendly.
The atmosphere and food are really good! We had a waitress who was on top of things and got our food and drinks out in a timely manner. And the prices are great! Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! We also really enjoyed the band, Hamilton Loomis. They were very entertaining!
Favorite appetizers are calamari and Tom's campfire. The ladder is little tender chunks of steak partially cooked that you finish cooking to your own liking at your table with the little "campfire". Everything from start to finish is delicious and if your a fan off bread pudding its definitely with a try!
They often have a live band; rock and roll style/ country vibe is usually the musical theme.
There is indoor seating but Outdoor is where its at. Outdoors, covered with heaters in winter and tombs of fans owned up more in the summer.
